Here goes my first post (pretty original opening line, I think you'll agree).

I've had 'start a blog' on my 'to do list' for, what can only be described as, a silly amount of time. So, I've finally plucked up the courage. Here's to 2010 where I'm going to be disciplined and get down my thoughts about (let's keep it loose) style and fashion. I certainly can't claim to be a fountain of knowledge on the matter but, I think that's the point. Style does not require a qualification.

Style is playful, style is expressive. It does not exclude, it does not age, it is not fearful. It is not prejudiced, it is not rigid, it is not easily defined. It keeps no record of effort. Style does not delight in mistakes but rejoices with the experimentation. It always communicates, always sparkles, always dares, always perseveres.
